Get the UltraNFC app

Updated Nov 3, 2026← All help topics

UltraNFC is the phone app that puts frequencies on your PULSE. Every account needs it. The easiest way in is the Get the app page: open it on the phone you’ll use and it shows the right steps for that phone.

iPhone

iPhones get UltraNFC through Apple’s TestFlight app. Do both steps on the iPhone itself.

  1. Get TestFlight from the App Store. Already have it? Skip to step 2.
  2. Join UltraNFC from the Get the app page, then tap Accept and Install.

When TestFlight finishes installing, don’t tap Open. Go back to the Get the app page and tap Join UltraNFC. You never need a code: if TestFlight shows a Redeem screen asking for one, close it and use the Join button instead.

An iPhone needs iOS 17 or newer. Every iPhone since the XR has NFC.

Android

There are two ways. Pick one; you can’t mix them on the same phone.

  • Google Play (recommended). Join our tester group, tap Become a tester, then install from Play. Updates arrive automatically. Use the Google account that’s signed in on the phone for every step.
  • Direct download. Download the app file from the Get the app page on the phone, tap it, and allow installs from your browser. Android warns you because the file didn’t come from Play; that’s expected. This version does not update itself, so you’ll download each new version the same way.

Not sure which to choose? See Android: Google Play or direct download.

Then sign in

Open UltraNFC and sign in with your UltraDAO account, the same email address you use on this website. If your PULSE is new, the next step is Device Setup.
